Lookup tables#

Lookup tables are used to.

  • Transform raw measurement values (Volts, mA, ohms) from AI module to engineering units.

  • Calculate any nonlinear or linear value in IEC program. Input can be from module or user defined value.

Lookup table#

  • Name: Unique name for the point inside the FX-controller. Any other point cannot have the same name.

  • Description: Used to describe the point.

Details#

  • Sensor type: Select one of three options. Resistive, Voltage, Current.

  • Offset: Constant value added to each X-axis value.

  • Picture: Select a process picture that will be opened when clicking graphics symbol on point settings of this point.

  • X-axis: Name of X-axis. Default is “Measured”.

  • Y-axis: Name of Y-axis. Default is “Converted”.
